We are currently looking for a Corporate Communications Intern (f/m/d) to join our growing team.
Wacker Biotech is going through a period of rapid change, for which attractive & regular internal communication is required. As a corporate communication intern, you will participate in developing formats for the internal communication. For this you will be working together both with the colleagues in Amsterdam and the Wacker Biotech communication colleagues in Halle & Jena (Germany).
You participate in the daily tasks that fall under internal communication. This includes:

Analyzing and further developing good practices for our regular internal communication;

Contributing to our internal SharePoint sites, guaranteeing consistent communication appearance across projects;

Consolidating updates and developing attractive content (blogs, vlogs, videos, …) on existing projects;
-
Developing change communication on our Culture Initiative;
-
Supporting management in preparing presentation material for various meetings, such as the ‘All Employee Meetings’.
A research question in this direction can be specified together, but it is also possible to introduce a research question yourself if it fits the work that Wacker Biotech stands for. The results of the study will be used to improve internal communication and to make our company more communicative.

Job responsibilities:

Make an analysis of our current communication standards and needs; through reviewing current communication practices and its usage, interviewing local end users, and by aligning with the German communication colleagues;

Decide together with us on our future communication objectives and standards;

In co-creation with us, develop a plan for our local, regular internal communication, including target groups, channels and formats;

Develop good practices for our change communication, both on our various internal projects and our client projects, in alignment with global communication colleagues.
Qualifications required:

You are a higher professional education (hbo)/university student, with study direction communication;

You know the basic principles of (internal) communication;
-
You have good oral, written (both in English and Dutch) and social skills;

You are curious, hands-on, independent and assertive.
