We are looking for capable, innovative, and enthusiastic achievers to join our team and grow with us. We are currently seeking a Strategic Supply Chain Manager for our site in Allentown, PA.

 

What you will do:

 The Strategic Supply Chain Manager directly promotes the establishment of best in class planning processes for the entire Polymers Division across the NCA Region.  This person will also be responsible for operational supply chain support for several warehouses, packaging and transload facilities in the network.  This includes 3 Business Teams and 4 product lines. The individual will be responsible for leading initiatives and developing policies to support the strategies for all NCA business teams. The Manager will lead specific business projects directed towards improving profitability, productivity and service levels by coordinating activities between the cross functional and regional groups.  They will provide specific logistics expertise within the division and interface with the global RMP function to integrate key upstream initiatives across the business.  This person will be the project lead representative from the regional Polymers Team for projects that involve complex matrix representation with specific deliverables. The position will support Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) for the LNC Business Team as well as Supply Planning for the Dispersions Calvert City Plant. This involves the use of the SAP module IBP (Integrated Business Planning) to create supply plans over the 18-month S&OP horizon.  The new IBP tool incorporates the detailed schedule created by the plant into the plan, so we need a coordinated approach going forward.

 

  • Drive SNP Improvement to balance Dispersion capacity and demand at Calvert City.
  • Lead the LNC S&OP process meetings and provide the Supply Plan for the LNC monthly business team and executive review S&OP meetings.  Direct S&OP improvements and issue resolutions.  Coordinate team activities as needed.
  • Accountable for specific cross-functional projects directed towards improving planning, profitability, productivity and service levels.
  • Responsible for supporting the order-to-fulfillment (OTF) process.
  • Champion multiple LOSP initiatives.

 

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree; Business, Supply Chain or Technical.  Masters preferred. 
  • 10 Years of SAP and directly applicable project, product or supply chain experience; Demonstrated Supply Chain and S&OP knowledge: demand, inventory, production, raw material and logistical planning; 10+ years’ experience preferable in a Chemical / Technical industry
  • Ability to travel both domestically and international (< 10% of the time)
  • APICS, CSCP, CPIM, Logistics knowledge, Six Sigma Training would be beneficial.
  • Experience with Excel. S/4 HANA, SAP APO/SAP IBP and SAP Business Objects
  • Highly motivated and results oriented - willingness to accept personal responsibility and accountability for results of the business.
  • Analytical skills to support fact-based decision making.
  • Proactive team player with ability to drive and implement change.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence employees at varying levels of the organization in a matrixed structure.
