To strengthen our team in Allentown,
we are looking for you as a(n) Operations Specialist.

 

The Operations Specialist – Production will identify and provides process improvement initiatives. This role will also provide expertise in mixing, coating, converting, and packaging process of production of WSMI products, as well as develop and promotes solutions using technology and technical methods to increase efficiency and productivity of production.


Responsibilities:

  • Develops and promotes solutions using technology and technical methods to increase efficiency and productivity of production.
  • Participates in development or review of standards within area of expertise.
  • Participates in financial calculations for the site. 
  • Creates, develops, and improves production process and procedures.
  • Works with site leader and controlling to create and define financial key performance indicators, as well as measure them.

 

Requirements

  • High School or GED (Associate’s preferred)
  • 3+ years manufacturing experience preferably in a chemicals industry (coating, converting, packaging equipment and mixing processes).
  • Knowledge and experience with coating, converting, packaging equipment and mixing processes
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Good with math and critical thinking
  • Ability to stand for the majority of the work shift and occasionally lift up to and including 50lbs.
