WACKER POLYMERS is the global technology leader in the development and production of redispersible powders, dispersions solid resins, powder binders and surface coating resins.
At our Allentown site, we are currently looking for a Marketing Analyst to be a part of our growing team.

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities

Our Marketing Analyst will support and use professional knowledge in promoting production, sales, and marketing activities across Polymers. Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing market data to monitor the performance of existing sales and / or marketing strategies and procedures. 
  • Identify patterns and effectively draw conclusions from data related to the organization's ability to sell its products or services in the marketplace. 
  • They will apply commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within marketing function. 
  • Lead marketing efforts to improve capabilities related to digitalization approach, Wacker Academy offerings, market research projects and business development analysis. 
  • Lead for select key commercial process ownership and optimization across Polymers. These processes and accountabilities include but are not limited to Salesforce opportunity management; competitive market database; import data optimization, customer segmentation and channel optimization; strategy processes; and portfolio analysis/coordination/preparation as it relates to business projects.
  • Ability to complete market assessments to strategically understand implications and make recommendations across our applications and customers.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or other related discipline.
  • High proficiency with SAP business warehouse, Microsoft Office Suite and other common industry data tools.
  • Collect, analyze and present information regarding sales, profitability, markets & competition.
  • Perform market research in designated areas.
  • Systematic and analytical approach to data analysis, preparation and evaluation. Ownership of databases used for market information and business team planning.
  • Development of presentations for all levels of management.
  • Highly motivated and results oriented.
  • Team oriented.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across different business functions.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently with a high degree of organization and time management.
  • Ability to drive and implement change.
  • Exceptional project management leadership and influence skills.
