To strengthen our team in Allentown,
we are looking for you as a(n) Laboratory Technician.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Performs application, quality, and product research testing as necessary in a laboratory environment.
  • Records observations and measurements and reports results back to team/supervisor.
  • Responsible for cleaning and maintaining a laboratory and testing equipment.
  • Assists with receipt and inspection of incoming laboratory materials and ordering and stocking of materials and equipment.
  • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a laboratory environment.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform work.
  •  Can coordinate with a team to complete projects and testing in a timely and efficient manner.

 

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or Associate's degree preferred
  • 0-2+ years of relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Possess skills to operate effectively in a lab environment (safety awareness, record keeping, testing, etc)
  • Time management, communication skills, & technical aptitude
  • Basic construction knowledge (residential, commercial, DIY)
  • Knowledge of common physical testing equipment (Instron, Tinius, Humbolt, etc)
  • Knowledge of polymer and/or cement chemistry
