WACKER POLYMERS is the global technology leader in the development and production of redispersible powders, dispersions solid resins, powder binders and surface coating resins. At our Allentown site, we are currently looking for a Adhesives, Caulks & Sealants Technician to join our growing team.


Job Responsibilities

This position is responsible to support the  Adhesives, Caulks & Sealants business in the North & Central America region by preparing and testing dispersions . 

  • Manage workload of multiple projects with limited supervision
  • Performs lab work as assigned based upon business needs.  At a minimum this will include technical service requests, application development, new product development projects, and production support requests.
  • Accurately document and communicate results in hard-copy and electronic formats.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures
  • Maintains a clean lab and equipment at all times. 
  • Ensures required maintenance on equipment is completed when necessary.



  • Minimum 3 years laboratory experience with high school diploma or 0-3 years laboratory experience with Associates/Bachelor's in Chemistry or related field.
  • General laboratory safety and operational skills
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office  programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Basic mathematics and Algebra
