WACKER SILICONES is one of the world’s biggest silicone manufacturers with silicone-based system solutions and over 3,000 different products. At our Adrian site, we are currently looking for a ​Shift Supervisor - Adrian 1 1​ to join our growing team.

Job Requirements

The Shift Supervisor role is  responsible for a safe supply service to production and assist in achieving goals established by production

• Follow and enforce SOP’s, company policies, and procedures. Incident reporting and initial investigation. First Aid response in plant during night shift and weekend shift. Safety of Production operators, and equipment.
• Supervise schedule attainment, production monitoring, and update departments on status of equipment and processes.
• Trouble shooting equipment / processes and working with PTS’s, maintenance, chemists, scheduling, and logistics to keep production running.
• Support / Guide operators. Assist operators with production related issues.  
• Assist with inventory, MSO's, and material requests.

Qualifications 

• Some College / Associates Degree and/or 2 years production related experience
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field is preferred
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Supervision Experience
• Operation of equipment/processes
• Knowledge of batch processes
• Understanding of safe work practices
• Good communication skills
• Trouble shooting skills
