
Responsible for the development and implementation of productivity projects to reduce costs and improve business profitability. Leads projects as well as coaches other project leaders on the implementation of operational improvements. Tracks, updates, and monitors projects and operational KPIs.
Position Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development and implementation of productivity projects to reduce costs and improve business profitability.
- Projects are sourced from all groups within the ADR site and from the ideasN2action operator productivity suggestion program, which the Productivity Manger leads.
- Regularly communicates with operators in production departments to align on productivity suggestions.
- Maintains the Productivity project boards in the various production departments across the site.
- Facilitates the development of 5S initiative across the site.
- Leads Six Sigma activities, including trainings and coaching of certification candidates.
- Implements digitalization efforts across the site (e.g. Parsable, Tableau, SharePoint, BISS).
- Leads WOS target setting and tracks value contribution of the production units throughout the year.
- Maintains project database in effort to drive continuous improvement of operating efficiencies.
- Advocates for and implements solutions to enhance sustainability efforts of the site.
- Supports Productivity activities, including projects, trainings, and WOS at SILMIX sites in Ohio and California.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or similar
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
- Minimum 3 years of related experience
- Travel <15%
- Black belt certification
- 7 years of related experience preferred
- Knowledge of silicone chemistry, corresponding chemical engineering and production methods background
- Experience and knowledge of ERP system principles and tools (MS Office, SharePoint, SAP R/3 and B.O.)
