we are looking for you as a(n) Process Chemist Lab Intern.

WACKER North America is looking for several highly motivated college students for our 12-week summer internship program at our Manufacturing Site in Adrian, MI.

The primary project will focus on developing and revising the cleanout matrixes for Fluids products (mainly Hibay).

Secondary (1): Involving in low visc AK fluid process optimization and assisting the lab trials.

Secondary (2): Helping with lab trials for DMC products and introducing them as raws for Adrian.

The main objective being cost saving and continuous improvements.

Position Qualifications:

Currently a rising sophomore or higher and attending school to obtain a college degree in the field of Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
Available full-time in person commitment (Monday through Friday) from May 19th through August 8th
Ability to follow safety procedures
Basic laboratory skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Effective time-management abilities
Ability to positively present our company
