Job Responsibilities
- Prioritize, plan, and follow-up on accuracy of the job plan for all planned work
- Act as principle contact and liaison between the maintenance department and operation planning/production management
- Review all planned work requests from assigned area and determine validity and accuracy of information and engage the appropriate resources to set a preliminary priority
- Obtain and organize all information required for the crafts to perform the work: task list, drawings, vendor manual, supplemental instructional materials, special procedures, and other file material which is appropriate.
- Participate in other activities as required, including field investigation, interpretation of drawings and documentation, and assistance with procurement of necessary materials.
Qualifications
- Community College, Apprenticeship program and/or technical school background is desirable
- Prefer a Journeyman Certificate as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Millwright, Pipe fitter or Electrician.
- Minimum of 10 years of industrial maintenance, maintenance planning and/or supervisory experience required.
- Ability to read, understand and correctly interpret technical specification and design documents and drawings.
- Ability to work in a team environment acting as both a leader and a follower, as needed
- Sound written and verbal skills to share and receive information with a variety of team members and external agents.
